Clear and Protected Payment
Your payment is processed within our secure Shopify store environment. Here's what you need to know about available methods, bank details, authentication, and refunds.
01 · Security
Encrypted connection and payment providers
Exchanges between your browser and octantwatch.com use an HTTPS connection when your browser displays the secure connection. The data required for the transaction is processed by Shopify's infrastructure and the payment providers enabled in the store.
Octant Watch does not need to receive or store your full credit card number to process an order.
02 · Available methods
What you will see at checkout
Options may vary depending on your country, device, browser, and the methods enabled in the store. Compatible bank cards and digital wallets may be offered, among others. The list displayed in the checkout before validating your order is the reference.
03 · Authentication
Your bank may request additional validation
Depending on the transaction and your banking institution's rules, additional authentication may be required, for example, via your bank's app or a 3-D Secure device. This step is controlled by the payment provider and/or your bank.
A refused payment does not necessarily mean there is a problem with the store. Check the information you entered, your spending limits, or contact your bank if the refusal persists.
04 · Debit & Refund
After the transaction
A validated order generates a confirmation to the email address provided. Keep it with your order number.
The exact appearance of the debit or an authorization on your account depends on the payment method and your bank.
When a refund is initiated, the time it takes to appear on your account then depends on the provider and the banking institution.
05 · Verification
Fraud protection
Some orders may be subject to automated or manual checks to limit fraudulent payments. If additional information is genuinely needed, we will contact you using the contact details associated with the order, without asking for secret bank data.
